This is a great recipe recommended by my lovely friend Orla. It is easy to rustle up on the spur of the moment from your store cupboard. I always try to have these basics in, inexpensive and they always work together.

This is a big favourite of ours, if you make it yourself you know exactly what’s in it too, so it can actually be fairly healthy. It can take a bit of time to put together so make extra as it freezes well, then you have a ready made meal for a busy day. 🙂

This is a recipe shared with me by my friend Jose – great cook, and great taste. The great thing about this is that you can vary the ingredients to suit your taste. I am being a bit conservative on the spice – so add extra if you like it hot!

This is a really economical cut of meat, which is really tasty when slow cooked. This is great served ‘family style’, in the middle of the table in a tuck in sort of way! A traditional French country recipe.
You can vary the stuffing as you like, if you want something really easy, use shop bought stuffing… Still delicious!

This is a simple thing to do on a daily basis which offers numerous health benefits… it will kickstart your immune system, it helps to flush toxins, aids digestion and can even help with weight loss – what a way to start the day!!!
If you are not keen on the lemon and water on it’s own, add some lemon juice, or slices to a cup of weak black tea (or green tea) and you will still benefit.
