This is an easy sauce to make for so many different things, macaroni cheese, lasagne, fish pie, cooking fish… all sorts! You can freeze the roux or keep it in the fridge for a few days if you make extra too. The sauce will keep in the fridge for a couple of days too.

Not too sure where my mum picked this one up from, but it really is good!! Really easy if you use storecupboard tinned tuna, and really tasty and as an extra bonus it is cheap too. 🙂  Try it with http://www.myingredients.com/recipes/homemade-potato-salad/

A total classic and just great anytime. A huge family favourite, and comfort food at it’s best for me. You can alter this recipe to your own tastes too, I like the dijon mustard in it but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea!

Great pudding for the winter months.  I often make the filling, and then freeze it so it’s just ready for topping – nice and easy.
