Quick and easy Banana chutney
Ooh, it’s beginning to smell alot like Christmas!!
This is an unusual chutney, but it’s really tasty! Enjoy with some leftover turkey, or some nice cheeses! You could also try it mixed with yoghurt for a dip? Why not! Takes around 10 days to mature, so start soon and you can try it out in time for Christmas. 🙂
Tortilla Wrap Pizza Tower
Made this tonight as we had some wraps to use – the kids demolished it, and it was really quick and simple. You can use whatever you fancy to fill it – tomato pasta sauce, garlic mushrooms, beef, chilli, chicken… anything you like! I used a tomato, red onion, basil and lentil filling along with the cheese.
Oaty Banana and Nutella Muffins
These deliciously perfect muffins are a tasty and relatively healthy wee snack or pudding! We had them warm from the oven and they really were gorgeous! I made them with the kids whilst their dinner cooled, and popped them in the oven whilst we ate, so really quick and easy too. The recipe uses ripe bananas, so a great way to use any that need eaten. Enjoy!
p.s. You can make your own buttermilk easily http://www.myingredients.com/recipes/make-your-own-buttermilk/
Ginger star biscuits
Get in the christmas spirit with these tasty treats! You can decorate these and then hang them on your Christmas tree, or they make sweet little gifts. As you can see, we made all sorts of shapes, and went with a Pudsey Bear theme. 🙂
Cuttlefish and Haloumi cheese Skewers
Great any time of the year, cuttlefish can easily be substituted with squid. Simple, tasty and cheap! Delicious!
Stephen Rice Cakes
A special dish, just for when you fancy a nice biscuity thing with a cup of tea!!
