Whisky (and mushroom) sauce

This is an ideal accompaniement to Haggis, Neeps and Tatties - loevly for the winter months!! There are really good vegetarian haggis around now too, so everyone can enjoy this.



  1. Heat the oil in a pan, and cook the mushrooms for 8-10 minutes until soft and golden. Blend your cornflour and whisky in a small dish.
  2. Add the stock, and cornflour and whisky mix. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 2-3 minutes, until nice and think. Add seasoning to taste. I tend to blend this for serving.
