An easy autumn pudding to go with a roast dinner

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180/350. Chop and peel apples. Discard cores and put into a medium sized pan. Add the berries along with the treacle and a little water as well as a tablespoon of sugar. Bring to boil and let simmer until apples are cooked but not mushy. Remove the berries and apples from heat. With a slotted spoon transfer the fruit into an oven proof dish. You can keep the juices for a sausage gravy. Then tip flour, sugar and butter into a mixing bowel. Rub together until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add oats and mix together. Then place crumble mixture on top of the berries. Place in oven for 30 minutes until the top is golden and crispy
