A great weekday meal for families, but really I think anyone would like this yummy comfort food. :)

  1. Preheat the oven to 220c. Put the flour, salt and pepper in a bowl, then add the thyme (leaves only if fresh), then add the egg. Now slowly add the water / milk mix and whisk until it is smooth and a bit frothy.
  2. Pour oil into a baking tray / roasting tin and add the sausages. Cook in the oven for about 5 mins, until they are sizzling. Whisk the batter again, and then pour it into the tin. Put the tin back in the oven for about 20 mins, until it has risen and is nice and golden.
