  • Makes: 1 trayful (6 Servings)
  • Prep: 5 mins
  • Cook: 50 mins
  • Ready In: 55 mins

These are oven baked, so are easy and are a much healthier option to chip shop chips.

  • 7 large Potatoes Maris Piper, or King edwards are ideal
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil light / mild to be extra healthy!
  • Salt
  • Pepper I sometimes use Cayenne pepper

  1. Preheat yor oven to 200c. Cut your potatoes into finger sized slices / wedges. I don't usually bother peeling as there is alot of goodness in the potato skins. Give the wedges a rinse and pat dry with some kitchen towel.
  2. Place the wedges on a baking tray (a single layer - use another tray if you have to) and drizzle with olive oil, ensuring they are all covered. Season to taste, then bake for about 50 mins, until they are nice and golden on the outside.
