Cheap,a nd cheerful weekday supper. Also a great way to use up any leftover bacon, you can add mushrooms too. Please note that these will be lightly cooked eggs, so be wary and adapt if you are pregnant, cooking for a young baby, or are elderly, or if you are unwell.

  1. Boil your spaghetti in a pan as per cooking instructions - usually 12 mins.
  2. Heat your oil in a pan, add the garlic cloves (whole) and push around the pan until soft.
  3. Remove the garlic, andf crush with a fork. Now fry the bacon pieces, fry for 10 minutes, until golden. Add the garlic back to the pan
  4. Beat your eggs, and add half of the parmesan, and season to taste. Drain your pasta. Take everything off the heat now.
  5. Add your egg and cheese mix to the bacon and garlic, mix well. Now tip in your spaghetti, and give it another good mix. Place a lid on top and allow to sit for a couple of minutes to cook though.
  6. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and some fresh black pepper. Serve immediately!
