I just use shop bought puff pastry, making this really easy and quick. Always a winner with kids especially. :) I let them ‘decorate’ their own and they love that! You can use whichever toppings you fancy, very versatile!!

I just use shop bought puff pastry, making this really easy and quick. Always a winner with kids especially. :) I let them 'decorate' their own and they love that! You can use whichever toppings you fancy, very versatile!!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Mixed Dried Herbs
  • 350 grams Puff Pastry ready rolled is great, otherwise roll to 0.5 cm thick
  • 1 small Red Onion peeled and chopped finely
  • 1 small Red Pepper chopped finely
  • 2 slices Salami sliced into thin strips
  • 100 grams Cheese mozzarella preferred; grated
  • 2 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180c. Heat the tomato puree, water, olive oil, and herbs in a pan, season if you wish. Bring to the boil and simmer for a few mins. Cut the rolled out pastry into 4 equal portions, and place them on a greased baking tray.
  2. Divide the tomato sauce evenly between the pizza bases, then spread evenly. Sprinkle with your choice of toppings, then lastly with the cheese. Bake in the oven for approx 15 -20 mins. Check after 15. Enjoy!!
