Pesto, steak and cherry tomato pasta

  1. Slice the steaks into thin strips, place in a bowl with the pesto and mix well.
  2. Bring a large pan of water to the boil, cook the tagliatelle for 10-12 mins as per instructions. Drain well.
  3. Whilst the pasta is cooking, heat a large frying pan with a little olive oil, or low cal spray, then add the steak and fry on a high heat for approx 5 mins, until sealed on all sides. Toss in the tomatoes and courgette (I like to add a clove of minced garlic too) and cook for another 2-3 mins.
  4. Fold into the drained pasta with the creme fraiche and season with salt and pepper. Heat through and garnish with the fresh basil to serve.
