Pear and Chocolate chip cake

This was a but of an experiment, and it was absolutely delicious, probably best served cold, with dark chocolate. if you are a total chocoholic like me you could make a chocolate topping instead, or use a dessert spoon of nutella, marbelling it with yummy chocolate gooeyness!!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180c, and grease your baking tin - approx 20-30cm.
  2. Mix the egg and oil in a bowl, until a wee bit frothy. Now add the sugar, flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt and vanilla and give it all a good stir. Lastly stir in the pears and chocolate, then pour into the baking tin.
  3. Bake for approx 25 mins, until nice and golden. Enjoy hot or cold. :)
