  1. Preheat oven to gas mark 4/180. Crush the caraway seeds to release its aroma.
  2. Wash potatoes and cut into pieces (peel them if not new spuds).
  3. Fry the chopped beef for a few minutes until brown on all sides. Then remove from pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan fry the onions, garlic and peppers for up to 3 minutes.
  5. Then return beef to the pan and stir in the paprika and crushed caraway seeds.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish and add the stock, tomatoes and potatoes. Put a lid on the casserole dish and cook in the oven for up to 90 minutes or until beef is soft.
  7. Before serving you can add fresh dish and a spoon of plain yogurt.
