An easy dish to put together and forget about whilst it slow cooks, delicious!

  1. Place the pork in a casserole dish suitable for the hob, skin side down. Sprinkle over the soy sauce and 1 tbsp of water, ginger, star anise and cinnamon, give it a good stir . Cover the casserole, turn on to a medium heat, as soon as it starts to simmer turn it right down to low to slow cook for 45 mins.
  2. Then turn the pork, skin side up and sprinkle over the wine, and sugar, cover and slow cook for a further 45 mins. Turn a few more times throughout cooking to help keep it moist. Serve with some rice and steamed vegetables. Gorgeous!
