Easy homemade dumplings for stew

I have to say, we love a stew on a cold evening! This is delicious with any stew, and really is so easy. You can add a dash of mint sauce to go along with lamb, or a generous pinch of dried herbs, lovely whichever way!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add these to the top of your stew for 30 mins once the meat is cooked, at about 180c.
  2. Put all ingredients in a bowl and rub the butter into the flour etc until it looks like breadcrumbs, add a splash of water and mix until it forms a dough. Roll into small balls, you should get about 20-24, so you may need to cook in batches. The dumplings will soak up lots of the gravy so add some extra water if you think it looks a but dry. Cook for 30 mins, covered, then enjoy!!
