a great, simple and really easy accompaniement to any meal. This is a big hit with our little girl in particular! You can add mustard to this recipe, spring onions (scallions) or whatever you fancy!

  1. Peel your potatoes and chop into even sized chunks, golf ball sized is fine. The smaller they are the quicker they will cook, so chop them small if you are in a hurry and reduce the cooking time accordingly.
  2. Place potatoes in a pan with water to cover, and salt. Bring to the boil, and cook for 15-20 minutes. You can check when your potatoes are soft by pricking with a fork.
  3. Once soft throughout, drain. Add butter and cream, salt and pepper to taste and mash until smooth and creamy.
